Reagan A. Reaud, Chairman of the Board
Reagan Reaud was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas. He is the founder and CEO of Privateer Capital Management, L.P. Privateer is a family-owned, multi-strategy investment company headquartered in Austin, Texas. He is also the founder and Chairman of the Lucena Group, which provides security and intelligence solutions to individuals and large corporations around the world.
Reagan attended college at Washington and Lee University, where he studied European History, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After college, Reagan enrolled in the University of Texas School of Law, from which he received a Juris Doctorate with honors. He served as a law clerk to Justice Harriet O’Neill of the Texas Supreme Court. He then worked as a prosecutor for the Travis County Attorney’s Office.
Reagan left his position as a prosecutor to attend the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned an MBA with a double major in Finance and Strategic Management.
Reagan serves as a director of Stellar Bancorp, Inc. (STEL), a publicly traded, commercial bank. He also sits on the boards of The Reaud Foundation, and the University of Texas Law School Foundation. He is a trustee of the Austin Symphony, a member of the Business Executives for National Security, and a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He now serves as Chairman of the Board of the Beaumont Foundation of America.
Rachael L. Roane
Rachael Roane is a lifelong resident of Beaumont. She received a Finance degree from the University of Texas and an Accounting degree from Lamar University.
Ms. Roane is active in this community including memberships in the Junior League of Beaumont, Symphony League of Beaumont as well as the Neches River Festival and Magnolia Garden Club.
Ms. Roane has served on the Boards of the Humane Society of Beaumont and All Saints Episcopal School. She was previously Board Chair of Family Services of Southeast Texas and Kelly High School. She is currently on the Beaumont Botanical Garden Board and is a member of the University of Texas School of Human Ecology Advisory Board.
She is married to Stephen Roane, and they have five children.
Peter R. Huntsman
Peter R. Huntsman has served as Chairman of the Board of Huntsman Corporation since January 2018. He has been a director of Huntsman and affiliated companies since 1994. Mr. Huntsman is also the President and Chief Executive Officer of Huntsman Corporation. Prior to his appointment in July 2000 as Huntsman’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Huntsman had served as President and Chief Operating Officer since 1994. Additionally, Mr. Huntsman is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Venator Materials, a publicly traded subsidiary of Huntsman.
Wayne A. Reaud, Chairman Emeritus
Wayne A. Reaud is the founder of the firm of Reaud, Morgan & Quinn and is known throughout the legal community as a champion of working men and women. He received his law degree from Texas Tech University in 1974. Mr. Reaud is a former Member of the Lamar University Board of Regents, is a former Director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and a past President of the Southeast Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Association, a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers and is listed in Best Lawyers in America.
Gilbert I. Low, Advisory Director
Gilbert I. Low is a partner in the firm of Orgain Bell & Tucker, L.L.P., where he specializes in litigation representing clients in major cases. He received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in 1960, graduating with highest honors. Mr. Low is former Chairman of the Texas Supreme Court Ethics Committee and is Vice Chairman of the Texas Supreme Court Advisory Committee. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America.
